Refer to UKVI guidelines for your visa type for the documents you must provide.

A scanning process for supporting documents has been introduced for the following categories: Tier 1,2,4,5 & Family members of European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss nationals. Documents must be sized, sorted and separated according to the supporting documents guidelines in the download document link above.

You will not be able to submit further documents once your application has been submitted at the visa application centre.

You or your sponsor should send your settlement visa application along with supporting documents to the UK address below.

Prior to sending any documentation to the address above, you should make sure that the courier company you are planning to use will deliver to Post Office (PO) Box addresses in the UK.

Supporting documents should be sent as soon as possible to the UK after you have completed the online application form, and should include your GWF number. The documents may be sent before your application, passport and biometric data are submitted.

Once you have prepared your documents, please submit them along with a suitably sized pre-paid, self-addressed envelope for return to your chosen address.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in a delay to the assessment of your  application, even if you have paid for the priority service.

Please note that supporting documents may be returned before you receive a decision on the application. This is a normal part of the process and there is no need to contact UK Visas and Immigration.
