USER PAY SERVICES - BANGKOK

To use the following optional services you will need to pay a fee at the visa application centre. This is in addition to the visa application fee. To make a payment, click here.

Settlement Scanning Service

The Settlement scanning service provides an option for the applicant to purchase the scanning to Sheffield and send documents electronically.

While opting for this service, applicants will need to pay an optional service fee to VFS Global, thereby ensuring that the original supporting documents are returned within 2 – 3 business days by Thai Post courier, without sending documents outside Thailand.

The service fee is THB 2000 (inclusive of taxes) per application.

24 Hours - Super Priority Visa Service

The cost of this service is an additional fee of GBP 919 (currently 42,274 Baht). Customers wishing to use SPVS should select an SPV appointment slot when making an on-line appointment to attend the Bangkok Visa Application Centre (VAC). SPVS applications will be ready for collection within 24 hours of biometric enrolment at the VAC. Please note that the 24 hour period does not include weekend days or public holidays when the VAC is closed – for example SPVS applications enrolled on a Friday morning will be ready for collection the following Monday morning - as this is the next working day.

Customers applying in one of the following immigration routes are eligible to use this service:

If you are applying for any other visa type or for a visa for a Commonwealth or British Overseas Territory you should not use the Super Priority Visa Service.

We strongly recommend that customers with any form of adverse immigration history do not use this service. Using the Super Priority Visa Service does not imply or guarantee that your visa application will be successful. All applicants must meet the requirements of the relevant UK Immigration Rules.

Please note:

  • The Super Priority Visa Service fee is non-refundable once your biometrics have been enrolled.
  • It will not always be possible for UK Visas & Immigration to process applications within 24 hours. In these circumstances we will let you know when you can expect your decision and whether your Super Priority Visa Service fee can be refunded.
  • The amount paid for the Super Priority Visa Service will not be refunded if the visa is refused.
  • Please note the terms and conditions of the Super Priority Visa Service and any disputes and claims arising out of its subject matter are to be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with SPVS.

Priority visa service

  • Priority Visa Service – Non Settlement Visa

Applicants in certain visa categories may pay a fee to use the Priority Visa Service. This fee is in addition to the normal visa fee.

The Priority Visa Service is available to customers who require their visa applications to be processed faster than the standard service offered.

All customers applying for a UK non-settlement visa -except PBS Tier 1 applicants and their dependents- are eligible to use this service.

This service is not available for customers applying for visas for overseas territories and dependencies (including the channel islands)

Under normal circumstances a Priority Visa Service application will be processed within 3-5 working days. The fee for the service is GBP 184 (currently 8,464Baht) per applicant. We cannot accept requests to use the Priority Visa Service after your visa application has been submitted. Eligible customers can pay for this service online before they attend their appointment at the visa application centre or at the visa application centre.

Important Notes

We recommend that applicants with any form of adverse immigration history, including a previous visa refusal, do not use this service.

The service does not imply or guarantee that applicants using the Priority Service will be successful in their visa application. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules. The amount paid for the Priority Service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or in exceptional cases, takes longer than 3-5 working days to process’’

  • Priority Visa Service - Settlement Visa

This service allows settlement visa customers to pay for their visa application to be placed at the front of UKVI Bangkok’s settlement queue and for their application to be processed ahead of other (standard) settlement visa applications. Your dependents can also apply for this service at the same time as you but they will also have to pay an additional Settlement Priority Visa Service fee. The fee for this service, in addition to the visa fee, is set by parliament at GBP 551 (currently 25,346 Baht) per customer.

Who can use the Settlement Priority Visa Service?

Customers applying under all settlement categories may apply for this service. This service is not available for settlement customers applying for visa for Overseas Territories and Dependencies (including the Channel Islands).

Customers cannot use this service after their application has been submitted at the Visa Application Centre.

It is strongly recommended that applicants with any form of adverse immigration history do not use this service.

The service does not imply or guarantee in any way that customers using the settlement priority visa service will be successful in their visa application. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules. The amount paid for the settlement priority visa service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused. Customers should be aware that settlement visa processing times may be extended if their application is missing any relevant information, formal evidential requirements or if any part of their application needs factual verification from sources outside of UKVI’s control.

Prime Time appointment service

If it is inconvenient for you to attend an appointment at the visa application centre during the regular opening hours of Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 16:30, you can schedule a Prime Time appointment on a Saturday between 8.30 to 12.00 and from Monday to Friday between 16:30 to 17:00 for an additional charge of GBP 75(currently 3,450 Baht). To avail this service, please select the prime time option when scheduling an appointment online and pay the GBP 75 fee (Equivalent to Thai Baht). Kindly note, you may also pay this fee in cash at the visa application centre.

Note: If you are applying for a Tier 4 (General) visa please do not book this service. Customers applying for Tier 4 visas will not be able to use the Prime Time service

Keep My Passport When Applying

Our Keep My Passport When Applying service enables you to retain your passport whilst your visa is being processed and is perfect for customers who may need to travel during this time or apply for another country’s visa. You cannot request this service after your visa application has been submitted. You can pay for this service online before you attend your appointment at the visa application centre or when you visit the visa application centre. The fee for the service is GBP 51 (currently 2,346 Baht).

You can choose this service for all visa categories.

You will need to return your passport to the visa application centre within 4 weeks of lodging your application.

You must supply a clear photocopy of your entire passport*

* A copy of the entire passport in either colour or black and white, on white paper min 60gsm, photocopied 600dpi minimum, actual size without any reduction or magnification, and orientated in landscape.

VIP premium lounge service

A VIP premium service lounge is available at the visa application centre. The service includes:

  • No queuing
  • Comfort and privacy
  • Personalised attention and service during the submission and biometric process
  • Free refreshments and snacks
  • Free courier pass-back
  • Free photocopying – if required (maximum of 50 pages)
  • Free passport-sized photo (if required)
  • Free SMS and email alerts
  • The premium lounge service fee is 3,150 Baht for each visa applicant, inclusive of 7% VAT. You should book your VIP premium lounge appointment on the AccessUK website when you have completed your application form by selecting Premium Lounge on the drop down menu. You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment. Please bring a print out with you to your appointment along with your visa application and other necessary documents.  Please note, you may also pay this fee in cash at the application centre.                  

Note: If you are applying for a Tier 4 (General) visa please do not book this service. Customers applying for Tier 4 visas will not be  able to use the Premium Lounge service

Courier service / Thai Post EMS Service

Applicants can choose to have their passports and documents returned to their chosen address by Thai Post EMS (Emergency Mail Services). The fee for this service varies by application type as follows:

  • Visit / Visit EEA 265 Baht
  • Points based system (Tier 1,2,4,5,Dependent) 370 Baht
  • Settlement / Settlement EEA 475 Baht
  • Laos / 1,135 Baht

All charges must be paid at the time of submission.

We are pleased to inform applicants who have opted for a Thai Post EMS delivery service that once you have received a notification that your application has been processed and to be released by the British Embassy, you may please track the progress of your application delivery through this website http://track.thailandpost.co.th/tracking/default.aspx by using your unique Thai Post reference number, i.e. EN xxxx xxxx x TH

Please ensure that you start tracking your application after 24 hours depending on the release of your application from the British Embassy.

Please note

  1. Addresses in Bangkok shall be scheduled for delivery within 1 to 2 working days.
  2. Provincial Addresses shall be scheduled for delivery within 2-3 working days.
  3. Laos Addresses shall be scheduled for delivery within 3–4 working days.

Photocopying service

A photocopying service is available for applicants at 3 Baht per copy.

Photograph service

Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the visa application centre. This will ensure that the photographs meet UK Visas and Immigration requirements. The fee is 250 Baht for 6 passport size photographs.

Fax facility

There is a fax facility at the visa application centre for a fee of 25 Baht per sheet for both incoming and outgoing faxes (within Thailand only) and 60 Baht per sheet for any international country.

SMS status tracking service

SMS and e-mail news updates will be sent to your mobile phone and your registered e-mail address provided in your application form, informing the status of your visa application. You will receive several automated messages to your mobile phone and e-mail informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text into the language of your choice (Thai and English languages are available). At the end of the process you will receive an automated message informing you that UK Visas and Immigration has made a decision on your visa application. You will not be informed on the outcome of the decision on your visa application.

You can buy this service for 85 Baht at the time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre.

Printed copies of visa application form and Internet Services

If you have been unable to print out your visa application form before attending your appointment, you can use the printing facilities at the visa application centre. The cost of this service is 25 Baht per page

If you need to complete, or make amendments to your online visa application form there are also internet services available. The cost for using this service is an initial fee of 35 Baht and thereon – 1 Baht per minute.

Walk in without appointment

The Walk in without appointment service is designed for applicants who want to pay to walk in to the Visa Application Centre in Bangkok without an appointment. It’s an optional service which means that the applicants are able to:

  • Pay a fee to access the VAC on a walk-in basis without having made an on-line appointment or ,
  • Attend the VAC on an earlier date than their scheduled appointment or;
  • Access the VAC after their appointment time (30 minutes or more) within that same day.

This service will cost THB 1,560 per application and is available in Bangkok only. This can be paid by cash when you attend your appointment at the visa application centre.

Note: If you are applying for a Tier 4 (General) visa please do not book this service. Customers applying for Tier 4 visas will not be  able to use the Walk In without Appointment service

Certification service

The certification service is for applicants who do not wish to submit their original documents. It’s an optional service which means that applicants are able to:

  • Pay a fee and have their photocopied documents certified by VFS staff. Original documents will be returned.

The certification service fee is available in Bangkok only at THB 75 per document. Payment can be made by cash when you attend your appointment at the visa application centre.

Form Filling Assistance

Form Filling Assistance service is for applicants who need assistance in completing their online application on AccessUK. This service will allow VFS dedicated staff to complete the application form on the behalf of applicants.

The Form Filling Assistance fee is THB 500 per application and available in Bangkok only. Payment can be made by cash when you attend your appointment at the visa application centre.

Note: If you are applying for a Tier 4 (General) visa please do not book this service. Customers applying for Tier 4 visas will not be able to use the Digital Assistance service

Application and Document Checks

Have your completed application checked by VFS staff before it is sent to UKVI for processing.

Customers who have completed and printed their application form can pay an additional fee to have the documents checked by VFS staff before it is sent to UKVI for processing.  Staff shall check that documents are complete as per the checklist provided by UKVI before sending it for processing.

If VFS staff finds that there are missing documents, customers will have the option to submit these in person at UK Visa Application Centre after their appointment, within 3 working days. Using the ‘Application and Document Checks’ service does not imply or guarantee that applications will be successful.

This service costs an additional THB 350 per applicant and is available to customers applying at UK Visa Application Centre.

On Demand Mobile Visa

We now offer you a service that brings the Visa Application Centre to your doorstep. UK visa applicants can now apply for a visa from a location of their choice, such as a home, office, or school campus. This service is ideal for large groups as the entire group can enroll biometrics and submit their visa applications on the same date and from a location that is convenient for the group. Further, VFS staff will ensure all applications are complete and ready for processing at the British Embassy.

    Set up the On-Demand Mobile Visa service in 3 easy steps:

    • Write to us ukviodmvbkk@vfsglobal.com or call us at 02 -168-7394 (available for only ODMV service information) to book an appointment by providing details like group size, preferred date, city/ location etc. We will get in touch with you to coordinate your appointment date, time, and location. Book at least 3 days in advance of your preferred date.
    • Pay the fee within 24 hours of confirmation and receive your appointment details
    • We will visit your preferred location at the appointed date and time to collect biometric data and accept the applications.

      Applicable charges – 50,600 THB for a group of (1 – 5 applicants), every additional applicant will be charged 10,120 THB

      We will provide the final price applicable once we have all have your details for confirmation of appointment.

  • How much will this service cost me?

    The cost of the service will depend on the size of the group and the location. Please see the pricing table given above. Not only is our pricing competitive, you will also avoid the associated costs of travelling to one of our visa application centres and taking time off work.

  • Can you cater for large groups?

    Yes. It does not matter if you are one person or a large group – we will quote you a price for a service which is reflective of your specific needs in those cities where this optional service is available. We will continue to listen to customer feedback as we plan further expansion.

  • Will my application be processed more quickly?

    Your visa application will be processed in exactly the same way as any other. Eligible applicants also have the option of our 5 day priority visa service.

  • Will this service improve my chances of success?

    Your visa application will be processed in exactly the same way as any other.

  • Is this a safe and secure process?

    Yes, your data will be secure at all times. Strict procedures will be adhered to, to ensure the integrity and security of the UK’s biometric and visa processes are maintained. We would not discuss these in detail for obvious reasons.

  • Will I need to make an appointment?

    This service will be provided by appointment only, to ensure the integrity and security of the UK’s biometric and visa processes are maintained.
