Certification Service

Details and Key benefits of service

Beneficial to those applicants who are unsure for the safety while submitting their original documents.

With the certification service an applicant does not submit the original but instead submits a photocopy which is certified by aVFS Global staff, while the original is handed back to the applicant for their safekeeping.

This service can be requested upon submission at the Visa application centre.

MYR10 per document.

Courier Return Service

Details and Key benefits of service

This premium service is designed specifically to suit those applicants who wish to save on their time and effort in once more returning to the application centre to collect their processed documents when intimated. They can now have this delivered to themselves at the address of their convenience.

Available to all applicants applying.

How does one apply?

This service can be requested upon submission at the Visa application centre or payment can be done online prior to submission.

Cost

RM 42 (inclusive of GST 6%) per application.

Form Filling Assistance

Details and Key benefits of service

This premium service is specifically beneficial for those applicants who are unsure and need assistance in completing their online visa application while visiting the AccessUK, website.

Here an applicant will be assisted by a VFS Global dedicated staff, who will help complete the application form while the applicant will dictate details to be mentioned in the visa application form.

This service is available in Kuala Lumpur only.

This service can be requested upon arrival at the Visa application centre.

Photocopy Service

Details and Key benefits of service

Beneficial to those applicants who on arrival at the visa application centre require to make copies prior to their submission – this they can do in the VAC rather than spend time and effort going outside for the same.

Available to all applicants applying.

How does one apply?

This service can be requested upon submission at the Visa application centre.

Cost

MYR 1.00 (minimum 3 copies) (inclusive of GST 6%) per page (short or long bond size) black and white A4 size.

Photo Booth Facility

Details and Key benefits of service

Beneficial to those applicants who are uncertain of the specific dimensions required for their pass port size photograph while they obtain the same from photo studios outside the application centre. These applicants can have their photographs taken at the visa application centre, which are sure to meet with the UK Visas and Immigration photograph specifications for applications, when required.

MYR25 for 4 passport size photographs.

    Premium appointment slots are available between 08:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Premium Lounge fee is non-refundable, please ensure that your documents are complete and application form is filled before attending the appointment.     Kindly note - Your visa application will be processed and decided by UK Visas and Immigration in The Philippines. The decision to issue or refuse a visa rests solely with UK Visas and Immigration while VFS Global has no influence over the granting of your visa.

    Using the VIP premium lounge service does not guarantee the approval of your visa application or affect the time taken for processing.

    Once you have booked your VIP premium lounge service you will receive an email confirming the date and time of your appointment. Please print the confirmation details and bring this with you on the date of your appointment together with the following:

  • A print of the online payment receipt with “GWF” number as a proof of your payment, else it will be not be considered a valid payment.
  • A signed online visa application form which you have filled in correctly together with the signed declaration.
  • Your passport or travel document with recommended validity of at least 6 months.
  • Supporting documents relevant to your visa application.
  • A recent passport-size (45mm x 35mm) colour photograph of yourself (if required).

    Please submit original documents with one photocopy of each document. Your original documents will be returned after the final decision has been made by UK Visas and Immigration.

    If you are unable to provide photocopies, VFS Global can do this for you at the visa application centre on the day of your appointment. Free photocopying (maximum of 15 pages) is included with this service.

Eligibility to use service

For those applicants who desire to submit their visa application in luxury and comfort provided with a dedicated VFS Global staff to guide them through their entire booking process – this is the premium service for them.

How does one apply?

An applicant will be required to book an appointment online through AccessUK or Visa4UK website after they have filled up their visa application form and paid the visa fee.

If you require to re-schedule your appointment, you can reschedule only for earlier or future dates. This is done by clicking “Update Appointment”.

In case you are not able to reschedule your appointment online kindly make a new application and request for a refund of the earlier visa application.

Cost

MYR 199 (inclusive of GST 6%) for each applicant.

Method of payment

The fee can be paid online here or in cash at the visa application centre.

Prime Time Appointment – This service is presently offered in Kuala Lumpur only.

Details and Key benefits of service

Primetime appointment service is offered to applicants during the peak season from August to September in accordance with schedules decided by UK Visas and Immigration.

You can confirm your appointment online after completing your application form,

Cost

MYR 435 per application.

Method of payment

The prime time service can be paidin cash at the application centre. This fee is non refundable irrespective if the applicant does not arrive or is late for their appointment.

Priority Visa Service

Details and Key benefits of service

  1. Priority Visa Service (non settlement)

You can pay for a Priority Visa service for your visit, work or study application (‘non settlement’). This will put your application at the front of the queue at every stage of the decision-making process. The cost of this service is in addition to your visa application fee and is non-refundable if the visa application is refused, or in exceptional cases, if it takes longer to process. Using the Priority Visa service does not guarantee that your application will be successful. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration Rules.

How long does a Priority Visa application take?

UKVI aims to make a decision on your Priority Visa application, and contact you to let you know that your passport is ready to be collected within 5 working days from when you submit your biometric information. 

However, every application is unique, and if your application is not straightforward, it may not be possible to meet this timescale. If this is the case, your application will still be put at the front of the queue at every stage of the decision-making process, and UKVI will aim to process your application within global customer service standards. Your application may not be straightforward if you have:

  • been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
  • been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
  • been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
  • overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
  • had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office, and/or;
  • been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
  • been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries, and/or;
  • you have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere, and/or;
  • you have an unspent criminal conviction in any country, and/or;
  • you have committed a criminal offence in any country.

If you fall into one of these categories, you may not want to use the Priority Visa service, as UKVI may be unable to process your application within the 5-day timescale.

Who can use this service?

All customers may apply for the Priority Visa service apart from applicants who are applying for visas to visit other Commonwealth countries, British Overseas Territories, and Crown Dependencies (the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man).

  1. Priority Visa service (family migration / settlement)

You can pay for a Priority Visa service which puts your family migration / settlement application at the front of the queue at every stage of the decision-making process. The cost of this service is in addition to your visa application fee and is non-refundable if the visa application is refused, or in exceptional cases, takes longer to process. Using the Priority Visa service does not imply or guarantee that your application will be successful. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK

How long does a Priority Visa (family migration / settlement) application take?

Who can use this service?

All customers applying to live permanently (‘settle’) in the UK under family migration routes, and where a full settlement visa fee is payable.

Cost

MYR 1067 for each non settlement application and

MYR 3196 for each settlement application.
