User Pay Services

To use the following optional service, you will need to pay fee in cash at the visa application centre. This is in addition to the visa application fee.

Prime time service, Priority visa service, Form Filling Assistance, Application and Document Checks, Courier service and Certification service fees are payable online as well. – click here

Note: Prime time, Priority visa service, Form Filling Assistance, Application and Document Checks, Courier service, Certification service and Settlement Scanning Service fees will be charged in USD when you make payment online.

Prime time service

The prime time service is available from Monday to Friday between 14:30 and 15:30. This service allows applicants, who pay an additional fee, to lodge their applications beyond the normal processing hours (Monday to Friday 08:00 to 14:30). (Applicants are not permitted to enter the visa application centre after processing hours (15:30)).

The prime time service fee is KRW 97,700 per application effective from 6 January 2017.

Important Note: Your visa application will be processed and decided by UK Visas and Immigration in Manila. The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by UK Visas and Immigration and VFS Global have no influence over that process. Using the Prime Time service does not guarantee the approval of your visa application or affect the time taken for processing, and the amount paid for the prime time service is not refundable even if visa applications are rejected or take longer than expected.

Priority visa service

The priority visa service is available to customers who pay an additional fee to have their visa application placed at the front of the queue. Under normal circumstances, a priority service for non-settlement visa application will be processed within 3-5 working days and a priority service for settlement visa application will be processed within 10 working days. The service fee for the Non-settlement visa is KRW 232,500 for each application and KRW 697,500 for Settlement visa category effective from 6 January 2017.

Walk In Without Appointment

The Walk In Without Appointment is designed for applicants who want to pay to walk in to the Visa Application Centre in Seoul without an appointment. It’s an optional service which means that the applicants are able to:

  • Pay a fee to access the VAC on a walk-in basis without having made an on-line appointment or,
  • Attend the VAC on an earlier date than their scheduled appointment or;
  • Access the VAC after their appointment time (45 minutes or more) within that same day.

This service allows applicants, who pay an additional fee, to lodge their applications during the normal processing hours (Monday to Friday 08:00 to 14:30).

The service fee is KRW 54,600 per application.

Important Note: This Service won’t be available from July to September.

Form Filling Assistance

The Form Filling Assistance is for applicants who need assistance in completing their online application on AccessUK. This service will allow VFS dedicated staff to complete the application form on the behalf of applicants.

The service fee is KRW 36,400 per application.

Important Note: VFS staff cannot provide the applicant with any immigration advice during the service. Using the Form Filling Assistance does not guarantee the issue of a visa, and the amount paid for this service is not refundable even if visa applications are rejected or takes longer than expected.

Application and Document Checks

The Application and Document Checks is for applicants who have already applied and have printed out their application form to check that an application is complete before sending it to the UK Visas and Immigration in Manila.

The service fee is KRW 18,200 per application.

Staff will check any required documents have been submitted, but not the actual content of the documents. If any documents are missing, the applicant should send the scanned missing document to the UK Visas and Immigration in Manila with the Evidential Flexibility letter provided by the staff.

Important Note: VFS staff cannot provide the applicant with any immigration advice during the service. Using the Application and Document Checks does not guarantee the issue of a visa, and the amount paid for this service is not refundable even if visa applications are rejected or take longer than expected.

Courier service

A courier service for return of processed passport is KRW 18,400 for each application.

For applicants who didn’t opt the courier service at the submission counter but have time to visit the visa application centre to collect the returned passport, the courier service (18,400 KRW, inclusive of VAT) is still available for the convenience. Please contact us by email to notification.ukkr@vfshelpline.com to request for the service after submission.

Photocopying service

A photocopying service is available for applicants at a cost of KRW 200 per page.
It is payable in cash only at the visa application centre.

Photograph service

Applicants can have 6 photographs taken for KRW 10,000. The photographs meet the UK Visas and Immigration photograph specifications.

Status tracking through SMS

At VFS Global, we constantly strive to offer a range of hi-end services to enhance customer satisfaction. VFS Global aims is to add value to applicants' experience, and are privileged to offer the latest hi-tech SMS service, an express route to know the status of your visa application.

Easy to use SMS service with an automated confirmation feedback message sent to the applicant's mobile phone, at various stages of the visa application process. Additionally, this user-friendly service will be followed up with an automated email message to the applicants email address informing them of the status of their visa application.

To experience the benefits of this service, please fill out the application form before visiting the visa application centre. There is a charge of KRW 2,900 (inclusive of VAT) at the visa application centre in cash.

Note: This value added service is available only in South Korea (local SMS only). Please read the SMS service disclaimer carefully before applying for this service.

Printing Service

Applicant can print out their documents at cost of KRW 700 (inclusive of VAT) per page. It is payable in cash only at the visa application centre.

Translation service

Please provide your documents to be translated to VFS at the visa application centre at least 2 working days prior to submitting your visa application. You may visit our centre and request for the translation service or email us through notification.ukkr@vfshelpline.com with scanned copy of the document to be translated. If you opts the service at the counter, please ensure that you collect your receipt upon your payment and bring the receipt along with you when you submit your visa application and supporting documents. If you request the service via email, we will guide you how to transfer the service fee replying your email.

There is a charge of KRW 16,000 (inclusive of VAT) per page in cash when you attend the visa application centre to request for translation.

Note: The email account (notification.ukkr@vfshelpline.com) is available only for translation service.

Certification service

VFS staff will confirm that they have seen an original document, endorse a copy of the document and the original will be returned to the applicant without the need for it to be submitted. This service can be completed where an applicant provides their own photocopy of the document in colour. Applicant can use the printing service additionally if a colour photocopy is needed.

There is a charge of KRW 36,400 per document.

Locker service

Applicant can store prohibited items before they enter the visa application centre. There is a charge of KRW 3,000 (inclusive of VAT) and it is payable in cash only at the visa application centre. For more information about prohibited items – click here

Settlement Scanning Service

This service provides the applicant with an option to choose VFS Global to scan their documents and send electronically to Sheffield, on their behalf.

While opting for this service, applicants will need to pay an optional service fee to VFS Global, thereby ensuring that the original supporting documents are returned for their safe keeping, hence not required to be sent outside South Korea.

The service fee is KRW 55,000 (inclusive of VAT) per application.
