UK Settlement applications are handled differently. Once you have enrolled your biometrics, your passport and Appendix 2 will be sent to the British High Commission, Kingston. Once you have completed the application process at the Application Centre, you or your representative/sponsor must send all original supporting documents PLUS photocopies to UK Visas and Immigration, Sheffield. The full set of documents must be received within 2 weeks of the date of your submission appointment. Further information on what documents you will need to include will be given to you at your appointment. Once a decision has been made on your application, the passport will be sent to the VAC where the application was lodged for collection or to be sent directly to your home address. All other original documents will be returned to the UK based addressee on the self-addressed envelope. For further information, please visit https://www.gov.uk/visas-immigration.
